Our Mission

Fields of Grace Ministries exists to provide a safe retreat for women with trauma and to care for the caregiver. We accomplish our mission by partnering with local organizations and individuals in the Columbus area (whom we refer to as Grace Guests) and providing therapeutic classes & events, as well as weekend retreats to include a therapist at the house.

Position Overview


We are seeking a dependable and hard working part-time Seasonal Farm Hand to join our team. This person will assist in the daily tasks of maintaining our flower fields, farm property, The ideal candidate enjoys being outdoors, working with their hands, and contributing to a mission-driven environment that supports healing through nature.

Qualifications

  • Experience in gardening, landscaping, farming, or similar outdoor work is preferred

  • A willingness to learn and take direction from the Farm Operations Manager and/or Executive Director

  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently

  • Able to lift 30-50 lbs and perform physical tasks in various weather conditions

  • Friendly and respectful in a community and visitor-facing environment

  • A heart for the mission of Fields of Grace and desire to be part of a healing, hope-filled space

  • Positive, can-do attitude with the willingness to be a team player

  • Ability to communicate confidently and constructively

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with planting, weeding, harvesting, and maintaining flower

    beds

  • Help with watering, composting, and general soil care

  • Support basic animal care duties (feeding, refilling water, cleaning

    enclosures)

  • Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the farm property,

    keeping it visitor-ready

  • Assist with U-Pick flower days and on-farm events as needed

  • Follow safety guidelines and communicate effectively with the

    farm team

Final Notes

Hourly wage based on experience. Part-time with potential for more hours during peak season.
